Hahahaha omg, I think if he ever read that he'd freak out! I'm just taking it a day at a time though. Patience!
Emily requested a Summer CD! If anyone else wants one, I'd be glad to make you one too! For now though, I'll leave you with 5 Songs for your Summer Playlist!
1. Make Me Stay - Gold Motel:
This band was started by a girl who was in another favorite band of mine, called The Hush Sound. It's very California and just reminds me of summer!
2. Portions for Foxes - Rilo Kiley
This is an oldie, but a goodie!! (ahaha) It's a hot song, but it also empowers me for some reason too. It's just a fun, feminine tune! Perfect for feeling sexy on those summer days ;)
3. Kiss the Girl - Colbie Caillat
Yes, I know. Colbie Caillat. I'm not her biggest fan, but I do love her cover of this song from one of my FAVORITE Disney movies of all time. I'm sure I've played it for you all before, but summer is the best time to revisit it! (in my opinion)
4. The Kids - B.o.B.
This is a fun cover of Kids. (I'm all about covers it seems!) Janelle Monae is amazing. Her new album is out now, by the way, and B.o.B.'s CD is really fun too! I just like it.
5. Krazy - Detail (feat. Ke$ha)
This is thanks to my sister. I needed some sort of fun hip hop song for Maranda! I like this one a lot though. Then again, I pretty much love all the messiness and "sluttiness" that is Ke$ha...haha If you like this song, I can send it to you or put it on a CD because it's not on iTunes yet.
Happy Summer everyone! Hope to hear from more of you! ;)

My "Southern" Summer So Far...
Love the idea, Em!
I'd like to start off by saying that I miss you all a ton. Also, I've been posting for the Pennsylvania State Blog - The Savvy Grouse (the ruffed grouse is our state bird), so check that out if you get a chance!
I've been busy working for the software company still. I also just started working at an Interior Design place, which is very fun! I get dressed up and man the cash register and talk to ladies (mostly) about what tables, etc. would look good in their homes. (Cause we all know I'm a pro at that....)
As for boys, well, there's one.... There are pics on FB. He's amazing and his friends are so fun! He has a shore house in Sea Isle City, NJ (yes, that's the Jersey Shore!) so I will be going there as much as I can this summer. Very excited. Last weekend was the most fun I've had in awhile! The invite still stands for all of you to visit in July! (see Facebook message).
I'm still looking for a "real" job. My sister graduated with an El Ed degree and is looking for work too. If you know of anyone hiring teachers, let me know!
Anyways, the Flyers just lost so writing this just helped my mind relax a bit so I can sleep more peacefully.
Miss you all LOTS AND LOTS!! Can't wait to hear what you have to say!

Summer Days
Hi my loves,
My friend Briana from Umass has a big group of friends from UVM who keep in touch with the help of a blog similar to this one. I thought it was a great idea to keep everyone in sync with what is going on in our lives. I know we're all semi addicted to facebook and gchat, but this could be something just for us. So, as the first entry this is what I can say about my summer so far..
School ended a few weeks ago and I'm pretty excited that I completed my first year. It's hard to believe at times. Sunday School ended as well *yaay* so I have a little more free time. Some of the kids were cute, but they were a handful. Now, I'm working at Six Flags making the schedules for the Retail department. It's not my cup of tea, but it's a job for now which is what I need to pay for things..like a parking spot at school because yes they are just as expensive as UNH and books for the Fall. I'm hoping to work in the hearing clinic later in July one day a week, but I have to save up the funds first. I have to pay to work there, how ironic. Other than that I float around in my pool when I get the chance and run :)
That's about it for now. I'll let you guys take the lead. How is everyone doing? How are jobs? Boys? Husbands? Families? I miss you all and hopefully this blog will work out well.
Much love
Em
